Father's Day Forest School!
We loved having our Daddies, Grandads and other special adults join us in the Forest for a special edition of Forest School. The whole Pre school went together enjoying a picnic lunch in the woods, climbing trees, making various arts and crafts, swinging in the hammocks and of course cooking up a storm in the mud kitchen. What a fabulous day!

Gruffalo crumble!
This week we made Gruffalo crumble. We used apple for his terrible tusks, claws and teeth, plum for his purple prickles and raisons for his black tongue! The children helped chop the fruit and make the crumble topping mix. They each took some home to share and it was yummy! Messy but fun!

Bee Keeper Visit!
For 'World Bee Day' today Raouf from Surrey Honey - a local bee keeper came to visit the children. He talked to them about where bees live, what they like to eat, how they make honey and what he wears to keep safe whilst colecting honey. He very kindly gave each child a pot of honey to take home. We also enjoyed some honey and yoghurt at snack time! Thank you Raouf from Surrey Honey!
