A lovely Autumnal day at Forest school! We spotted various flowers, fungi (including honey mushrooms and fly agaric) and a carpet of sweet chestnuts! Lifting logs to spot bugs and navigating the various trees, paths and sandy burrows. Being World Space Week, everyone made their own conker rocket by carefully cutting ribbon and twisting elastic bands around their special conker. We had great fun flying them around the forest, seeing how high and far they would go.
