š¼š¦š± Exciting Nature Explorations at Tandridge Village Pre school and forest school! š±š¦š¼
This week included!..
šæ Garden Bird Spotting: we learnt to identify different bird species and observe their behaviors. Can you help us look out for any abandoned pigeon nests? šļø
š Investigating Nature: As we delve deeper into the world of birds, we explored their diets by looking for bugs and worms that our feathered friends love to eat. This hands-on investigation will help us understand the importance of each creature in the ecosystem!
šØ Fine Motor Skills Activities: To enhance our fine motor skills, we had fun catching āaydoughā worms, just like the birds do! This engaging activity will not only strengthen those little fingers but also teach our preschoolers about the food chain.
š„ Life Cycle of Birds: Our curious minds also embarked on an investigation into eggs and the life cycle of birds. We learnt about how birds hatch and grow, which sparked discussions and creativity!
š¦ Making Bird Feeders: We got crafty by making bird feeders with the oaks children at Forest School!
šŖ Muddy Obstacle Challenge: To top it all off, we had a muddy obstacle challenge! This was a fantastic opportunity for our children to get active, enjoy the outdoors, and have a blast together!
