Tree spotting

As it was National tree week last week we took the time to look at all the different tree species we could spot along the field edges.

We talked about the different textures and the feel of the bark on the trunks.

The children found lots of different types of fallen leaves and described the shape and sound of them.

We had great fun making it rain with leaves and being chased by “the leaf monsters.”
